Thanks to Jon Berry for the tip off. It seems RADIOSHACK is dropping the RADIO to evolve into THE SHACK. Publicity stunt or permanent rebrand? From the article below, it might just be a campaign as they "focus on mobility and wireless products from leading brands", according to their spokesperson, Lee Applbaum, RadioShack’s Chief Marketing Officer. (Note: Recent 'mis'-nomers include Pizza Hut into "The Hut" and Circuit City (who?) to "The City") Unnecessary? We'll see.
