Today we drink nothing but Milk Shakes. LOL. Here are 3 delicious recipes that's on the menu today, adapted from Chow.com:
+ Oatmeal Cookie Milk Shake
(Be sure to use the crunchy versions!)
method:
Combine 4 to 6 tablespoons milk, a dash of cinnamon, and 1 pint vanilla ice cream in a blender or a food processor fitted with a blade attachment. Pulse 8 to 10 times or until mostly smooth. Add 6 crushed crunchy oatmeal cookies and pulse 5 times more. Layer with caramel sauce in a chilled pint glass and serve.

+ Purple Cow Milk Shake
method:
Combine 1/4 cup Concord grape juice and 1 pint vanilla ice cream in a blender or a food processor fitted with a blade attachment. Pulse 10 to 12 times or until smooth and pourable. Pour into a chilled pint glass and serve.
"Juicy good. Might be strange in flavor for some. An acquired taste. Fun."
+ Pina Colada Milk Shake
(Adapted from Banana Foster version. Canned pineapples work as well.)
method:
Cut fresh pineapple into chunks (larger chunks for canned variety) and place in a blender or a food processor fitted with a blade attachment. Add 1/4 cup dark (or light) rum. Add 1 pint Haagen Dazs Pineapple Coconut ice cream and pulse 10 to 12 times more until smooth and pourable. Pour into a chilled pint glass and serve.
