VISIT + DISCOVER : The Putting Lot in Brooklyn, New York
The Putting Lot is a nine-hole miniature-golf course in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Each hole is designed by a different team of artists and architects around themes of urban sustainability. Playing a round at the lot is an interactive experience, requiring golfers to step inside the artist’s visions and the ideas that have inspired them. Through the transformation of the vacant lot, the construction of the holes, and a series of events held in the community space, The Putting Lot hope to provide a forum for discussing urban sustainability in a new context.
Scheduled to open on June 6 2009 (yesterday), there are a variety of scheduled events and even a snack shack to satisfy hungry sportsmen after their compeitition. Their hours of operation are Wed-Fri, 12 to 8 pm; Sat & Sun, 10 to 8 pm. Adults get to tee off for only $5 and kids under 12 for only $3. Get started on your Tiger Woods tour and head on out to 12 Wyckoff Avenue Brooklyn, New York 11237 (Take the L train to Jefferson Street).
This looks like a fun outing this summer if you are in New York! Do Visit + Discover The Putting Lot and email me about your experience - philiphan38@me.com

Nice! Putt-Putt and art strategic combo. Now why can't LA get its act together and get some putt-putt action? How about a Kogi/Twitter style roving arcade truck at least, eh?
Great fun!
"The Putting Pot", it will be named if there were one here in LA. And E! will probably throw in some F-List celebs as guest relations and make a reality series out of it!
