TURBULENCE TV
(Hi all. Apologies for not having posted anything new the last couple of days. Been busy with our other website. We are on a pretty aggressive deadline, so my full focus is needed. Still I thought I might sneak a little break to post some fodder to feed your voracious appetite. Thank you for re-visiting THE DIRTYBLOG)
Very much in the vein of A&E's Airline, Airways is a new and more 'frustrating' reality TV series centered around ultra no-frills Tiger Airways Australia. (Tiger Australia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore-based Tiger Airways.) "Australia has proven a good market for travel-based TV shows, having previously aired "Going Places", which focused on Jetstar, while "Border Security" still airs. Tiger is reportedly not funding the production, but was interested to gain free publicity and also have travelers understand what, exactly, Tiger is all about." Cheeky bastards!
I enjoyed a couple of episodes of Airline but my attention (or tolerance) ceased after watching too many disturbing scenes of either unreasonable passengers losing it or ground crew being 'difficult'. Frankly, I do not want to be reminded of the somewhat cattle-like conditions we pay hundreds of dollars to put ourselves into, paying $5 for a cold stale turkey croissan-wich and another fiver for 80s technology headphones for crappy IFE entertainment! Aah the joys of flying (Domestic)...check out the promo
